The Ajman Private Education Affairs Office has affirmed the importance of reviving the heritage of “Haq Al Laila,” considering it one of the authentic traditional practices that strengthen national identity and instill values of social cohesion among students, given its deeply rooted cultural and educational significance in Emirati society.
The Office explained that it has directed private schools to organize celebratory activities for this occasion in a manner that enhances the participation of students, parents, and educational institutions, reflects the values of giving and social solidarity, and contributes to familiarizing younger generations with popular heritage. This comes in conjunction with the “Year of the Family,” emphasizing that such celebrations serve as an effective platform for reinforcing a sense of belonging and pride in Emirati identity, and for passing on heritage to future generations.
