Launching the “Knowledge Insights” Initiative to Empower School Leadership in the Emirate of Ajman

The Private Education Affairs Office in Ajman announced the launch of the “Madarek” knowledge initiative, aimed at empowering school leaders and building learning communities across the emirate. The launch event was attended by private school principals, educational officials, and representatives of government entities, and was held at Ajman Saray Hotel.
The initiative seeks to enhance the capabilities of 48 private school principals in Ajman and to develop a leadership model that keeps pace with educational and technological transformations. It also aims to ensure alignment between school outcomes and Ajman Vision 2030, the “We the UAE 2031” Vision, and the UAE Centennial 2071, thereby contributing to the development of human capital capable of fulfilling the emirate’s aspirations.
Her Excellency Aisha Sultan Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Private Education Affairs Office in Ajman, affirmed that the initiative represents “a strategic step toward empowering school leaders and strengthening their role as educational leaders capable of translating national directions into tangible educational practices that support the student experience and enrich parent communities.” Al Shamsi added that the periodic meetings and specialized programs within the initiative will create an environment for shared professional learning and open effective channels of communication among principals, thereby enhancing collaboration and advancing institutional performance in private schools.
The “Madarek” initiative is based on the philosophy of Professional Learning Communities, which aims to foster continuous collaboration among principals and enable them to apply transformational leadership to build an innovative learning environment, encourage community engagement, and leverage technology and artificial intelligence in supporting education. The initiative will also host three annual meetings, each addressing a new topic with the participation of local and international experts, linking theory to practical application.
